I would like $1.00 for cost, $2 for postage, and $0.75 for finder’s fee for a total of $3.75.

  • There is a James King who married a Nancy McCurdy on 11 August 1846 in Pope County, Illinois. Nancy is likely Eliza’s mother  though Eliza appears in the 1850 census with Eliza’s father James, his second wife Angeline, and Eliza’s brother John.James King married Clarey Angeline Jones 2 January 1849 in Pope County Illinois.  It’s possible this can be cleared up by getting a copy of Eliza Ellen King Noble’s death certificate as the index for it only lists her father’s name.
