She married Lewis Dow Thomas, a dentist, about 1889. Effie Genevieve Thomas died on 2 April 1913 in Unionville, Putnam County, Missouri and is buried in Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, Putnam County, Missouri.

Lewis Dow Thomas (born 15 July 1857 in Streator, La Salle County, Illinois) was the son of Alfred Dwight Thomas and Nancy (nee Reed) Thomas. He married Effie Genevieve Francisco about 1889. Dr. Thomas died on 1 March 1936 in Hale Center, Hale County, Texas and is buried in Unionville Cemetery, Unionville, Putnam County, Missouri.

Alvina W. (born about 7 August 1887 in Venedy, Washington County, Illinois) Wehrenberg was the daughter of William Wehrenberg and Lisette (nee Luebbe) Wehrenberg. She died in February 1968 (her last residence being listed as Red Bud, Randolph County, Illinois) and is buried beside her husband at Our Redeemer  Cemetery, Affton, St. Louis, Missouri.

The couple married between the 1910 and 1920 censuses.

The couple married sometime between the 1910 and 1920 census.
